Is seeing a dietitian covered by insurance?
Yes! Many people ask whether virtual nutrition visits are covered by insurance. Modern Integrative Nutrition partners with several major insurance plans. Coverage varies based on your individual policy, but most of our clients pay little to nothing out of pocket because their sessions with a registered dietitian are included in their benefits.
Before your first appointment, we’ll verify your benefits and provide an estimate of any potential out-of-pocket costs.
We accept the following insurances:
-Aetna
-Anthem Blue Cross
-Blueshield of California

If your plan doesn’t cover nutrition services, we offer a self-pay cash rate.
